Galerie Werner Whitman

Galerie Werner Whitman is a private art space which has been in operation since May 2005. Working at the intersection between artist collective and public institution, Werner Whitman provides artists with the autonomy and independence of a noncommercial space with the long term investment and collaboration of an rostered gallery. Werner Whitman is a gallery and a developing model of collaborative artistic representation. Working in its own space and within other institutions, Werner Whitman functions to incite critical dialogue upon the role of art in the present.
