Sam Shalabi who is one of Montreal’s most unique and prolific players over the past decade explores everything from classical Egyptian music to free-form psych-rock. Shalabi’s latest project is Land Of Kush on Constellation.

Omar Dewachi is a musician and academic, founder of Qurna, a conceptual and experimental music project of Iraqi Maqam repertoire.

Pierre Guy Blanchard, percussionist, recently released an album, Pasha – Affaires Étrangères, inspired by Balkan and Turkish music.
