The Toronto based band, The Creeping Nobodies, have occupied innovative presence, after nearly 10 years together, members changing, touring and records, they’ve decided to disband.

In honor of this influential group, we’re offering an exclusive suite of unreleased + recent recordings. We’re really proud to put this release out & look forward to new music from the cherished people that comprised the Creeping Nobodies. Records are for listening to.

Niagara Falls Tape was recorded, as the title suggests, near to the NY & Canadian
border onto Rick’s 4 track cassette. Fredrick Burton III wrote these songs while living &
working in Niagara Falls during the coldest winter in 30 years. The falls froze still
that year for 37 minutes, 4:12am, February 17, 2009. This release features the
The Cat The Mouse members, KJ Johnson, Hugh Browder, and Jason Hogg.

“Family is broken-toy disco rock, served funky, like a big friendly bowl of sugary breakfast cereal. Upon a base of hearty synths and sweaty drums these tunes bubble with ’80s pop guitar licks and are bedazzled with meta-marshmallows of electronic drones and glitchy samples. This alt-dance exterior is a framework from which hang beautifully rhythmic vocals, either musing empathetically about high-school lovers and guilt-ridden bus rides or issuing vaguely strange missives about mysterious wizards and black champagne.
